Combine the opportunity to learn Spanish with the rewards of community service and the adventure of travel. We have teamed up with Centro Panamericano de Idiomas (CPI), the only Spanish immersion school in Costa Rica with three campuses, to give you a unique educational experience featuring three very different regions of the country – Central Valley, Flamingo Beach and the Monteverde Cloud Forest. This variety ensures you enjoy diverse excursions to complement your in-class instruction. Surf the Pacific, run a day camp for local children and chat with the “ticos” to practice your Spanish skills – the recipe for an amazing summer!

Participants can join us for 14 days or 21 days. This program is available to students completing grades 9,10,11 (ages 15-17 years old).

Language requirement: Open to beginner through advanced levels.

Specific projects are confirmed in late spring and are similar to those described. Everybody participates together in each project.

A letter recognizing your hours of Spanish Language classes and course level completed along with the details of the hours of community service projects completed will be issued after the program.
