Description

Learn from trained instructors who have acquired years experience in teaching Finnish to international students through this language program offered by The National Registration Center for Study Abroad. Situated in Helsinki, participants get the chance to avail of a private or semi-private language classes conducted in the former's lodging. They will also live with a local host family whose residence is typically located outside areas that are heavily-populated with tourists.

Highlights

1. Helsinki is as eye-catching as it is distinct from other European capitals--a city that has been called the last in Europe to be built as art.

2. Numerous parks and waterside walkways weave past a stunning combination of architectural styles, the result of a neoclassical building scheme in the early 1800s and the efforts of modernist Finnish designers in the mid 20th century.

3. Most of the sights, hotels, and restaurants cluster on one peninsula, forming a compact city center that is easily explored on foot.
