Description

Gain comprehensive Spanish communication skills through this language program offered by The National Registration Center for Study Abroad in Mexico. Escuela de Espanol UG was established in 1994 and is a branch of the University of Guadalajara, the second largest institution of higher learning in Mexico. Centrally located in the heart of downtown Puerto Vallarta between the rugged Sierra Madre mountains and the Pacific Ocean, Escuela de Espanol lends an opportunity to study Spanish and Mexican culture while enjoying the shores of Mexico's largest bay, the Bahia de Banderas.

Highlights

1. Classes at all levels are taught in 100% Spanish.

2. A highly participatory teaching method is utilized, so that all students are encouraged to be involved in supportive group interaction.

3. Instruction emphasizes oral expression, vocabulary development and listening comprehension, complemented by reading, writing and grammar exercise.

4. Escuela de Espanol offers students access to University of Guadalajara computers and e-mail accounts for a nominal fee

5. Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, is a veritable paradise on the Pacific coast. Tucked into a niche in the West Sierra Madre mountain range, it can be reached in 30 minutes from Guadalajara by air or in four hours by road.
