Description

Were you fascinated with the movie ‘Black Panther’? The kingdom of Wakanda might be fictional, but their language isn’t. Nguni is widely spoken in Southern Africa as well as some parts of East Africa. It consists predominantly three dialects that make up the languages of Xhosa, Ndebele, and Zulu.

Join Khula's Nguni lessons for beginners, intermediate, and advanced! You’ll learn from experienced, qualified instructors who’ll help develop and hone major skills: listening, writing, reading, speaking, and composition.

Classes are in Bulawayo, the capital city of Ndebele people. Bask in the tranquil and leisurely environment of this beautiful African tourist destination.

All language program packages include tuition, learning material, accommodation, meals, airport transfer, Bulawayo City Cultural and Historical Tour, Nguni cultural study seminar, participation in an oral tradition practice session at Khula’s Oral Gallery, chance to contribute a short story for the children’s animation tales program, and learning to play the Marimba, Karimba or Drums.
