Description

Málaga, Spain (pop. 600,000), a breathtaking Mediterranean gem located in the famed Costa del Sol, is a city teeming with art and culture. One of the oldest still-inhabited cities in Europe, Málaga's extensive multicultural history invites students to experience the essence and foundations of true Andalusian and Spanish culture.

Known for year-round sunshine, beaches, and exquisite food, it is no wonder that Malagueños (residents of Málaga) can be observed any day of the year strolling along the city's verdant pedestrian promenades and seaside walkways, taking advantage of the region's exceptional climate.

Málaga is the birthplace of Spanish artist, Pablo Picasso, and students will have the opportunity to visit his home, amongst numerous other world-class art museums and historical monuments that reflect the city's multicultural past. Fusing tradition with modernity, Málaga is home to Spain's third largest airport, where students will have quick access to places all across Spain and Europe right at their fingertips. Studying in Málaga will not only give you a traditional Spanish experience, but will open doors to the rest of Spain and the world.
