The F+U Academy of Languages in Heidelberg is one of the largest language schools and test centers for foreign languages in Germany. Specialising in German as a foreign language, we are one of the world leaders in the provision of German courses, whether in the form of intensive lessons in the mornings and afternoons or extra-occupational evening courses.

Over 10,000 language learners and exam candidates participate in language courses and examinations. Every year, learners come from over 100 countries to take part in the German courses.

The F+U language school is situated in the middle of the university’s historic centre, and just a few metres from the river Neckar. With 70 multimedia-equipped classrooms (up to 85 in summer), 3 Internet rooms with 50 PCs, free Internet access and Wi-Fi, the Academy of Languages offers everything to ensure that the language learning experience in Heidelberg is an exceptional one.
