Description

Take part in the Global Health program in Oaxaca offered by CFHI. Program participants will learn about preventative medicine and primary care. They will also learn about the community health education programs in the region. They will rotate around hospitals and clinics that serve low-income populations.

The program includes the following educational aspects:

- Pre-trip web conference opportunities and orientation materials
- Orientation upon arrival, which includes cultural adjustment exercises
- Weekly meetings with Local Coordinator and Medical Director
- Clinical rotations Monday-Friday, working with public health experts and local physicians who are participating in CFHI as teaching preceptors
- Information sessions that highlight the health care system in that country, common cases you will encounter and other site-specific information
- Post-trip debrief materials and other on-going alumni activities/services

Highlights
