Firenze, or Florence, is a city that bustles with industry and craft, commerce and culture, art and science. This conveniently located program gives students the opportunity to live the Italian lifestyle, to explore the surrounding areas, and to absorb the culture of the city. The city known as the Cradle of the Renaissance has about 500,000 inhabitants and is easy to reach by train or car. The city offers visitors artistic and cultural events year round. The program is located in the heart of Florence, between the Duomo and the Uffizi Gallery.

Italian language courses are offered year-round at six levels and taught by experienced instructors. All courses are taught in small groups. Courses are held from January to November every year. Classes run for four hours daily, Mondays through Fridays. The program also offers other courses, including Art History, Italian Literature, Opera, Business Italian, and wine and cooking. Admission to these courses requires an intermediate level of Italian. Students earn about 3-4 credits for every four weeks of study. Join us! See CSA website for details and register.
